Goldenberry

Appearance

Golden berries are a small, bright orange fruit with a papery husk that are native to the Andes mountains of South America:. They are about the size of a marble and resemble a cherry tomato. They are encased in a straw-colored calyx, which is a papery husk that should be removed before eating.

Taste

Golden berries have a sweet-tart flavor that’s similar to a cross between a mango, pineapple, and cherry tomato.
